About me

I am here to help parents raise happy and healthy children

We all need support through the most important period of our children: the early years

Hi, my name is Carolina Solano (Mrs. Lina). I am a mom and an experienced caregiver for more than 15 years. I have a degree in educational psychology and caring for children has always been my passion.  I am a caring, energetic, and organized caregiver. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your little one. That’s why I created Lina’s Little Treasures Home Daycare- a cozy, home-based daycare where children are loved, encouraged, and celebrated every day.

Lina’s Little Treasures is a professional Home Daycare licensed by Fairfax County. Its mission is to support the emotional, social, and intellectual development of infants and toddlers. I am certified in Medication Administration Training (M.A.T), CRP, and First Aid.

My goal is to create a nurturing environment that feels like a second home. I focus on building strong relationships, encouraging curiosity, and helping each child grow at their own pace. I provide an informal educational program to promote learning through fun activities, music, and teaching; all through a bilingual environment. Whether we are painting, building a tower of blocks, playing outside, or sharing snack time together, I treat every child like one of my own.

I keep my group small so I can give each child the attention, love, and guidance they deserve. I work closely with parents to understand each child’s needs, routine, and personality. Families can count on consistent communication, a balanced mix of structured learning with flexible free play, and a genuine commitment to your child’s development. Your child will be part of our extended family.
